This project was a digital media showcase on any company of our choosing. My group, of three, choose to research and present on Tesla. Our assignment was to talk about the history of the company, how they operate, and what is their social media presence.
What we found out was that they operate like no other company. At the time we made the presentation, Tesla was still operating in the red, meaning they were not making money. They also did not spend any money on social media; all their social media content was user-generated or fan made. Another interesting difference between Tesla and their competitors was that they don't have any dealerships; what they have instead are small stores, that can be in malls, that help you customize and order your dream, Tesla, when you walk in.
